The first two weeks are more instructional geared to prepare the team for the games. Games will be held the last six weeks of the program and will be coached by parent volunteers. So it’s a great 2 for 1 program with lots of benefits! Involvement will give your kids a safe, healthy and fun opportunity to learn t-ball and spend some time with old and new friends. Parents can volunteer to coach, which is a great time to bond with children and teach them valuable lesson that will go beyond the field of play. Our coaches will teach the basics of the game using a soft safety ball and batting tee. Players will need to bring their own glove. Teams will be randomly selected by the Recreation Department Staff. No request will be guaranteed. All league games will be played in the evening.
